The Rainbow Room is located in New York’s legendary landmark, Rockefeller Center, in Midtown Manhattan. Honored by presidents, dignitaries and biggest entertainment stars since 1934, the place is well known for its historic events and occasions.

Hear from the most influential thought leaders in business, finance and politics, including State Senator Liz Krueger, who played a pivotal role in promoting policy changes that led to the historic legalization of cannabis in New York City in March 2021.

We are pleased to announce that the first speakers have been confirmed (below), with more to be announced in the coming weeks:

Liz Krueger (New York State Senator): Senator Liz Krueger is currently Chair of the Senate Finance Committee and was the main sponsor of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act, which became law in March 2021.

Pablo Zuanic (Managing Director, Cantor Fitzgerald): Pablo is a well-known and well-rated equity analyst with global experience, having covered equities for the past 20 years in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Jeremy Berke (Senior Reporter, Business Insider): Jeremy is a senior journalist specializing in the emerging cannabis industry. He’s covered everything from policy changes to the boom in cannabis companies going public.

Dr Carlyn Buckler (Associate Professor, Cornell University): Carlyn is Associate Professor of Practice in the Horticulture Section of the School of Integrative Plant Science. She teaches courses on digital technologies in agriculture, public science communication and a synthetic course on cannabis.

John Hudak (Deputy Director, The Brookings Institution): John is a Senior Fellow and Deputy Director of the Brookings Institution. He conducts research on US government institutions, elections and governance issues around the legalization of cannabis.
